It has been a good few days in terms of adding profits to the bank. Whilst there have not been many arbs as such, there have been a few where the bookmakers concerned have been willing to accept bets. My stakes are not high, they have averaged £150 per bet (£300 in total to cover both sides). I am pleased with the way the past few days have gone. In total, I have added a further £160.35 to the bank, which is a ROI of 3.23% on total stakes of £4825.
One of the reasons that I am able to turn over my bank a few times is due to Moneybookers. Whilst I was apprehensive a few weeks ago, I decided to take the plunge shortly after that. It allows me to move money quickly between the bookies and my account, and that is one of the key reasons I am able to turnover a large amount even though my bank is quite small. When I started reading up on arbitrage on various forums, people always recommended large banks of £5000-£10000 plus! I did get a nice surprise from Moneybookers to say that they had upgraded my account to a VIP account. I almost felt really important!! I've had a quick look at it here.
