Arbing Update

Sometimes I feel like there just isn't enough hours in the day! I work full time, so all my arbing has to fit around it. In addition, the value bets I was doing have taken a back seat for the moment, it takes me a good few hours to do them, and I just don't have the time at the moment.

The arbing returns have been steady but unspectacular. Arbs have been very hard to come by, and those that have appeared have been very low returns, mainly around the 1% mark. Since the last update, my returns have been £189.57. I did get caught out with two arbs that cost me money. The first one was a cup match, where the bookies had different rules about extra time, and the second one was a void bet due to a palpable error. The latter was surprising, as the bookie (TitanBet) was only offering odds that were a measly 10% better than the rest of the market. It was not an obvious error and when they cancelled the bet (after the match), they didn't even let me know! I'm beginning to be a lot more wary at the moment, as these errors do eat into the little chunks of profit at an alarming rate.

I am finding myself drawn increasingly back to Betfair, and trading. I feel that if I can put a few extra hours in just learning and monitoring some of the markets, I may have an extra income stream. I am under no illusion how hard it is. There's a few races today, and if I can just sit and watch I may have an inkling of which way I want to go. I do have an idea that I want to test out with £2 stakes.
I wish you all the best with whatever you do today.
