Over the past few days I have been determined and aggressive in attacking any arbs that have been available. I am aware that bookmakers will restrict me heavily in time, and instead of waiting for it to come and missing out on profit in the meantime may not be the best option. I do not know when the decision will be made, so I might as well "abuse" them as much as I can. Stan James and Victor Chandler restricted me in a matter of bets, and I placed small monetary amounts with them. Also as I get used to placing bets between the bookies, I need to feel comfortable with the amount of money I am putting on and maximising my returns. This is especially true with bookmakers that allow you to see what the maximum stake amount is, and is a big help.
The total stakes since I started arbing now stand at £40263, with a profit of £1169. A ROI of 2.91%. This is all from a very small bank of about £1500. The more I profit, the more I can stake. The last few days or so, I have literally placed every single penny available on arbs. This has been good as it has allowed me to gain maximum profit on my bank and ensures that the betting bank is working as hard as it can to gain profit.
Since starting out, I was using free services that show you the arbs that are available. There are quite a few alert services that I have been looking at. These are websites or stand alone software solutions that find all sorts of arbs in different sports and show you exactly where and what to do. The problem with the free arbs are that they do not last very long, are normally quite low and you cant pick and choose bookmakers you want to show. However, there are a few providers that offer free trials. For example, SureBet Monitor offer Free Mondays where you get the all the arbs for free on a Monday. Rebel Betting, Mathbet, Oddstorm and Oddsfinder all offer lots of arbs that are free to access but only include arbs with an ROI of upto 1%. This has been good as I have been able to keep my costs very very low and concentrate on getting the hang of arbing, placing bets and getting small returns over and over again. I am now starting to pay for small trials to see which one suits me. Some of the services are quite expensive, and vary from £50-£200 per month. As I only do this for a few hours at most in a day as it basically fits in around before/after work, I really cant justify paying out and eating into my profits as such. However, if it does deliver bigger and better arbs then it may be worth it. This is something that I will need to research before I make a decision. For the time being, I am very happy with the profit and progress I have been making.
I did arbitrage too for a while... made approx 3k after I got limited at various bookies!!! I stopped with it and looked into tennis. Still arbitrage betting is very nice... I made a website where I wanted to find all the odds and compare them. You can take a look at it if you want. Its www.oddsonly.com check out "free sure bets"... the prices are pretty much outdated and sometimes I still got it wrong... but I liked the approach of sport arbitrage. Maybe i'm going to pick it up again sometime...
ReplyDeleteBookies that limited me were: stanjames, bet365, paddypower, williamhill, ladbrokes, betsson, betway... so it was really crappy lately... but I am thinking about developing an auto better engine using only the good bookies like pinnacle, sbobet, 12bet and some more to find odds automatically and place the arbitrage bets for me automatically as well... ;) money making machine LOL... let me know some more of your experiences man, seems like you've been quite the same way as I did
